Keyfacts' Inspection Report (IR) services help insurance companies come to an informed decision regarding insurance applicants with conditions warranting further investigation, or who have requested a very large amount of insurance coverage. We provide the insurance company with a detailed inspection report covering all possible factors that may affect this decision.

Our experienced, qualified and dedicated personnel conduct interviews involving sensitive and confidential information with the applicants. We gather information such as identity, occupation, health, habits, sports activities, driving record, public records, finances, etc. The specific questions asked depend on the amount of coverage requested and the requirements of the insurance company.

Tips on how to make the information gathering process easier for your client:

We have found that a prepared applicant is generally more cooperative, which helps us complete the IR process more quickly. So before setting up the time and date of the applicant interview, we suggest that as the applicant's insurance broker, you:

  • Advise your client that one of our investigators will be calling to conduct a detailed interview,

  • Inform us of any client sensitivities or other particulars which may be of importance to the interview, or which could be affected by the kinds of questions asked.

In case of a high amount of insurance, we conduct an initial interview with the insurance broker. This allows the broker to advise the applicant that we will be calling for an interview.
